Seattle Storm point guard Sue Bird received an exclusive colorway of the Nike Kyrie 5. Now it turns out the special edition basketball sneaker will be made public.
The latest offering of the Kyrie 5 features a mid-rise upper with a white base paired with colorful text and graphics throughout the sneaker. The term “#KeepSueFresh,” which is embroidered on the heel counter, was coined by Brooklyn Nets star Kyrie Irving during a conversation with the sportswear giant; he told them to make sure the WNBA star always gets new kicks from his signature line. Unlike the version Bird wore on the court, the pair of retailers replaces the translucent outsole with a light blue rubber outsole.

Nike has yet to announce an official release date for the Nike Kyrie 5 ‘Keep Sue Fresh’, but rumors say the pair may only be released in school size on Nike.com and at select Nike retailers for 110. $.
