When is the Nike LeBron 4 Fruity Pebbles release date? Here’s what we know

The Nike LeBron 4 “Fruity Pebbles” colorway is set to return in 2022, leaving fans eager to hear a release date announced by Nike.

Originally released as a player exclusive in 2006, the colorway named after LeBron’s favorite cereal has become something of a fan favorite in recent years, hence the decision to bring back the back.

It’s not the only fan favorite returning in 2022 either, with Nike looking to revive the “Chicago” Jordan 1 in a reimagined vintage style later this year.

That being said, we’re only focusing on the “Fruity Pebbles” version of LeBron in this article. So, without further ado, here’s everything we know about the sneakers so far…

When is the Nike LeBron 4 Fruity Pebbles release date?

Although the exact date is unknown, it is currently reported that the LeBron 4 “Fruity Pebbles” will be released at some point in December 2022.

A 2022 arrival will end a 16-year wait for a general release of the original 2006 player exclusives, meaning it’s likely these sneakers will be highly sought after when they arrive.

As a result, we expect them to sell out quickly, especially since it’s unclear at this stage how many pairs will be available.

Fruity Pebble Design Nike LeBron 4

We haven’t seen much of the 2022 “Fruity Pebbles” design so far; however, it looks like the colorway will remain roughly the same as the 2006 Player Exclusive based on the information we have.

As seen in the image above and the 2006 release images below, the “Fruity Pebbles” feature a random assortment of colored “Fruity Pebbles” on the inner liners and midsoles at a glance to LeBron’s favorite cereal.

White Foamposite is used for the rest of the upper, with a matching ankle strap around the collars adorned with Blue tabs, while the laces and heel pull tabs are dressed in Purple.

Underfoot, you’ll find the rainbow colors crafted from a translucent rubber material and laid out in horizontal stripes to match the ‘Fruity Pebbles’ uppers.

A key difference you can find with the 2022 release is the inclusion of genuine Fruity Pebbles branding that landed on the newer LeBron 19 Lows.

Unfortunately, you’ll have to wait for Nike to reveal official photos of the 2022 version for final design confirmation, so be sure to stay tuned for more here.

Nike LeBron 4 Fruity Pebbles Price

Without an official listing, it’s hard to say exactly how much these “Fruity Pebbles” sneakers will cost.

However, reports suggest they will arrive with a $250 price based on previous LeBron releases.

That said, that price would be slightly higher than one of Nike’s newer models – the LeBron 18. This may, in part, be due to the popularity of the once-exclusive “Fruity Pebbles” colorway.

Where To Buy Nike LeBron 4 Fruity Pebbles
