With the introduction of the Nike LeBron 20, King James and the brand are working closely on new color schemes and silhouette styles for an energetic NBA season in 2022-23. The shoe brand has now unveiled a ‘Miami Heat’ themed pair to commemorate the player’s time with the team.
On October 5, 2022, Nike and select Nike Basketball retailers will sell the Nike LeBron 20 Miami Heat online and in-store. The suggested retail price for a pair of men’s shoes is $200. They’re also available in elementary school and preschool sizes, for $160 and $95, respectively.
The LeBron James x Nike LeBron 20 Shoe appears in the Miami Heat colorway with black and red overlays
The Lakers star and the Oregon-based shoe company have already launched a number of new iterations of their recently created LeBron 20 signature shoe. This time, the duo produced a low-cut silhouette as opposed to previous silhouettes.
A few weeks after their sophisticated design debuted in the pink coloring, they unveiled the Violet Frost and Barely Green variations. The Miami Heat colorway will be the newest addition to this catalog.
The design of the Nike LeBron 20 sneaker has a high-cut style with a lighter mesh serving as the base of the upper and a double Swoosh effect on the lateral side. It’s inspired by the future generation of basketball players (mainly LeBron’s kids).
The majority of the uppers in the new colorway are crafted from black elements. However, bits of red, yellow, and white are used alternately on the upper of the shoe, which fits the theme perfectly.
The upper’s premium knit elements are completely blacked out for a warmth-inspired appearance. Here, white trim can be spotted along the heel counters, eyelets and collar areas for added detail.
Next to the black tips are the matching black tabs topped with black and white speckled lace closures. Towards the neckline, the tabs are embellished with the “XX” characteristic of the 20th silhouette in yellow. The insole, lacing system and dubrae also feature LeBron XX detailing.
Of the double Swoosh on the shoe, the top one has a slightly shiny gold finish while the bottom one is finished in white. Both are lined with red dots. Meanwhile, the black inner lining of the shoes is complemented with blue insoles.
A Zoom Air unit on top sits in the black forefoot midsole for cushioning and a 13mm Zoom Air unit in the heel provides the user with shock absorption.
The aesthetic of the shoe is finished with a red rubber outsole which is encrusted with black buttons with the King James crown logo around the lateral midfoot.
Fans can keep an eye out for the soon-to-be-launched Nike LeBron 20 Miami Heat colorway, which is set to go on sale October 5, 2022. The shoes are expected to retail for $200 for an adult size, $160 for a size l. elementary school and $95 for preschool pairs. They can be purchased from the brand’s official website and from other Nike Basketball partner retailers.
It should be noted that the release dates mentioned are still pending confirmation from Nike and are dates suggested by early reports from trusted sneaker insiders.
