It wasn’t too long ago that Nike announced the return of the LeBron Watch, with notable drops set to occur on the 23rd of each month. And while missing the mark by a few days, the resurrected LeBron 8 V2 Low “Miami Nights†is certainly a fitting addition to the pack.
If you look back almost a decade ago, LeBron’s signature Nike lineup was undergoing a paradigm shift. Gone are the colors of Ohio and here are the vivid tones inspired by the nightlife of Miami, a city the athlete would briefly call home. And to preemptively celebrate a championship victory that never happened, the brand produced the colorway “Miami Nights”. Confetti-inspired prints strike the upper throughout, pairing with bright neon undertones. The brighter blues and reds would be filled throughout the top, scoring alongside a rather thin display of white and black neutrals.
