Nike LeBron 20 Violet Frost DJ5423-500 Release Date

LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers made their 2022-23 NBA preseason debut last night against the Sacramento Kings. Unfortunately for King James and the rest of the Lakers team, the result was a whopping 30-point loss. However, it was an opportunity for James to show off his latest signature sneaker with Nike, the LeBron 20. Officially announced last month, the LeBron 20 has been spotted in a variety of colorways, including a Miami Heat-themed look that James wore on the court last night. Another seemingly team-focused colorway includes the purple and gold “Violet Frost.”

Previously appearing in an accidental release via Finish Line, Nike has officially revealed the “Violet Frost” colorway. The colorway sticks to the silhouette’s signature construction as a special “XX” dubrae returns in silver alongside a carbon fiber midfoot shank and purple knit upper. Most notably, the lateral purple Swoosh of the LeBron 20 is partially covered by an additional Swoosh in a striking gold. Hints of salmon appear at the base of the Swoosh stitching, lace system and tongue while a lavender arrives at the midsole, sitting atop an off-white multi-directional rubber outsole.

The Nike LeBron 20 “Violet Frost” is currently set to release on October 15 via Nike and select Nike Basketball retailers for US$200.

In other footwear news, the Air Jordan 37 has been decked out in a Toronto Raptors-themed colorway, reminiscent of the OG Air Jordan 7 “Raptors.”
