While “Space Jam: A New Legacy” has come and gone, its star shoes haven’t. Recently, the Nike LeBron 19 “Sweatsuit” surfaced via official images.
Up to this point, the only snaps of LeBron James’ 19th signature sneaker that had emerged were campaign footage for the corresponding film, walking snaps of “Akron’s Child” and early unauthorized leaks. As such, the latest development provided the best look to date from all angles of the proposal designed by Jason Petrie. The layered synthetic upper offers a muted tone complemented by a bolder, yet semi-sheer shade of blue along the tongue, at the laces and around the angular heel overlay. Maps of Nike World Headquarters and the Warner Brothers Bundle are printed below the pair’s grid pattern top layer. Underfoot, Nike Vapormax-like soles forgo a lot of color, but feature a new cushioning and tread solution for King James as longevity and durability become a more urgent part of his daily life. Finally, the socks are marked with the logo of the associated film.
No official Nike SNKRS release date has been confirmed, but this LeBron 19 could drop before the end of 2021. Either way, enjoy the pictures of the pair below.
