18 models, signed by LeBron James
Interestingly enough, the LeBron 18 Low doesn’t look much different from the LeBron 18 – a shoe that already featured a low build. Indeed, it appears to be more of a take-apart sneaker in the mold of the LeBron Witness 5, as the standard Battleknit upper is replaced by a synthetic ripstop material sporting the iconic ‘Fireberry’ shade. Cool blue fused layered stripes lower the ‘Fireberry’ temperature a few notches, with black mudguards, cropped black Swooshes, and sleek black heels providing additional contrast. LeBron’s signature hits the tongue and his familiar Nike Basketball “LJ” logo appears on the heel.
At the bottom, the midsoles blend a familiar Air Max heel unit with an extended, ridged blue heel clip. Moving on to the forefoot, the standard Zoom Air configuration of the LeBron 18 is abandoned in favor of flexible React foam. High grip rubber outsoles blend a duo of shades of blue with ‘Fireberry’ end accents to complete the look.
The Nike LeBron 18 Low “Fireberry” will debut on the Nike Japan online store in the coming days and is priced at 19,250 yen including tax (approx. $ 184 USD).
