LeBron’s latest Nike shoe pays homage to ‘Space Jam 2’ villain


CLEVELAND, Ohio – Basketball fans around the world attended one hell of a NBA All-Star game last weekend, while sneaker enthusiasts got to check out some of the hottest shoes during the course. the next few weeks.

LeBron James used the first half of Sunday’s game to show off his Nike LeBron 17 “Monstars” shoe from “Space Jam 2”. But he turned things around in the second half, making his “Mr. Swackhammer, ”a shoe that pays homage to the franchise’s main villain.

The “Mr. Swackhammer” is available in neon green, blue, pink and other bright colors, as well as scales to mimic the appearance of the character in the movie. “Space Jam 2” will hit theaters in July 2021.

The Nike LeBron 17 “Mr. Swackhammer” arrives on the SNKRS application and some Nike dealers on Wednesdays at 10 a.m.

The LeBron 17 Monsters hit stores last week. This colourway is based on the purple and orange uniforms worn by the nemesis of Bugs Bunny and the Tune Squad in the upcoming film.

The Nike Lebron 17 Monstars, which retail for $ 225, are available now on Nike.com, Foot Locker Stores and the SNKRS application. The color is also available in older children ($ 165), small children ($ 95) and baby / toddler ($ 60) sizes too.

Nike released a Tune Squad shoe on Saturday. These kicks represent the debut of the LeBron 17 Low range and feature a red, white and blue color scheme, as well as a lucky furry swoosh in honor of Bugs himself.

The Tune Squad-inspired shoes sell for $ 160 and are on sale at SNS and StockX.
