AMBUSH’s Yoon Ahn Teases Nike Sneaker Collaboration

UPDATE (February 16, 2022): Yoon Ahn followed up his previous IG teaser with a full reveal of his Nike Air Adjust Force. The model stays true to the 1996 original, but cuts the height and replaces the two-tone OG FitWraps with a high gradient.

The midfoot strap gets a minimalist overhaul, opting for an unbranded pattern as opposed to the “NIKE” branding of the original.

ORIGINAL STORY: (February 16, 2022): Yoon Ahn, creator of AMBUSH and director of jewelry for Dior Homme, posted a fit photo on IG wearing what appears to be his next collaboration with Nike.

The sneaker sports a chunky ’90s-inspired construction and an almost “triple black” color scheme. Pops of color come in the form of a white mini Swoosh at the toe and a purple hue gradient on the side panel.

There’s a chance it’s Yoon’s Nike Air Adjust Force teased in November. Released in 1996, the basketball silhouette featured interchangeable FitWrap straps in collegiate colorways for a customizable look. Yoon’s version will feature recycled materials, as previewed in an IG post from September.

No official release information has been announced, stay tuned for updates.
